Ken Zhu


Ken Chu Hsiao-tien (born January 15, 1979 in Taiwan) is a famous Mandopop singer and composer, he is one of the members of the famous Taiwanese boy band F4 and also a prominent Taiwanese drama actor. Educated in Singapore (Boon Lay Secondary School), he speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and English.



He was working as a waiter in Taiwan when he was discovered by Cai Zhiping, the creator of the boy band F4. He started in showbiz working as a part time as an assistant for some artists, then acting in several idol series successfully which pushed him to the center of the stage. 



He starred in the TV series, Meteor Garden, and its sequel, Meteor Garden II. 



He was the lead in Sky of Love (2003) and Tokyo Trial (2006). In January 2005, he released his most anticipated solo album, On Ken's Time. He also released a cookbook, Mei Wei Guan Xi (Delicious Relations) on January 5, 2006. It was released in China on July 4, 2006, and four months later in Japan. Chu is now focusing on his solo acting career and has a huge fan base in Asia.



On February 24 and 25, 2007, he held his first solo concert in Japan, titled 2007 [I-KEN] 1st Concert at the Tokyo International Forum Hall A with an unplugged theme. December 2007, Chu starred alongside Iza Calzado in Philippine production movie "Batanes: Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan" of Ignite Media Films, directed by Adolf Alix.

Van Ness Wu is a Taiwanese American actor, singer, director, producer based in Asia. He was born on August 7, 1978, in Santa Monica, United States. He worked as a telemarketer before moving to Taiwan. As a member of Taiwanese boyband F4, he has appeared on three albums. He has also released three solo albums, and collaborated with Korean star Kangta to produce one album, "Scandal." He has also been featured on singles by Beyoncé and Coco Lee.



Wu has also appeared in several dramas for Taiwanese television both with and without other members of F4, and has starred in three motion pictures.



Wu has directed two music videos off his "V.DUBB" album, as well as a video for Nike's "This is Love" campaign in Hong Kong. He was also executive producer with Terry Tye Lee on the Nike track, "She's Not Sorry."

Vic Chou




Vic Chou is a Taiwanese actor, singer and commercial model. He is a member of the famous Taiwanese boy band F4, and has starred in Taiwanese dramas. 



Vic Chou was born on June 9, 1981, making him the youngest of the F4 members. He is considered the baby of F4, being treated the best by other F4 members. His mother has Taiwanese aborigines Atayal bloodline while his father is Taiwanese with ancestry from Linyi, Shandong Province. His grandmother gave him the nickname Zàizài, meaning "little boy", which has become a nickname for him among fans.

Entering the Industry

He was discovered when he accompanied a friend auditioning for a role in Meteor Garden. While waiting for a friend at their auditions, he was huddled in a corner near one of the Meteor Garden staff's office, who said he looked like Huā Zé Lèi and was asked to audition. Meteor Garden was adopted from a Japanese, "Boys Over Flowers" (Japanese romanization: Hana Yori Dango).


He was asked to play the role of Huā Zé Lèi, a very silent and sensitive guy who befriends the female protagonist Shān Cài, played by Barbie Hsu.

Jerry Yan



Jerry Yan was born 1 January 1977. He is a Taiwanese actor and member of Taiwanese boy band F4. His birth name is Liao Yangzhen.



With his role of "Dao Ming Si" in Meteor Garden, Jerry Yan became a sensation across Asia almost overnight. His devotion to "Shan Cai" has redefined our generation's definition of "Ideal Boyfriend" as he won the affections of girls all over Asia ever since the year Meteor Garden was aired as it continues to capture the hearts of many and even sparked reproductions in Korea and Philippines. His newly released Album "Extra Freedom" achieved outstanding results. The Album was released on 18 June 2009 in Taiwan and now still sits firmly within Top 10 in G-music Chart(G Music is the index for the number of sold Albums). The Japanese version of "Extra Freedom" broke the record (the highest ranking)among the Chinese Song Albums in Oricon Chart Japan.

Kim So-eun




Kim So-eun (born September 6, 1989) is a South Korean actress under NOA Entertainment. She has appeared in a number of series and dramas, such as The Iron Empress and Sad Love Story. She is best known for the role of Chu Ga-eul in the popular drama series Boys Over Flowers.



Her first acting role was a small part in the 2004 film "Two Guys", when she was still in junior high. Since then she has appeared in various films (including "Fly, Daddy, Fly" and "The Show Must Go On") but she is known more for her acting on TV. 



Her best-known TV role was in the 2009 Korean TV drama series "Boys Over Flowers", in which she played Chu Ga-eul, the love interest of Kim Bum's character, So Yi Jung. In 2009 she also played one of the lead roles in "The Man Who Can't Get Married".



She has also appeared in music videos for musical acts like SHINee and 8eight, and has done commercials for Clean and Clear and Pocari Sweat. In 2009 she became the ambassador of the 5th Korea International Youth Film Festival.She currently attends Chung-Ang University majoring in Theater and Film with her good friends, Go Ara and Kim Bum.

Biography

Yoon Eun Hye entered the entertainment industry since she was 15 (in 1999), as the last member of a Kpop girl group called Baby VOX. Rain (born Jung Ji-Hoon; June 25, 1982) is a South Korean pop and R&B singer, dancer, model, actor, businessman, and designer.

Rain's musical career includes seven albums (six Korean, one Japanese), 19 singles and numerous concert tours around the world. His acting career began in 2003, when he won the KBS Best New Actor award for his role in the drama Sang Doo! Let's Go To School. In 2004, Rain won the KBS Excellence in Acting award for his role in the drama Full House. After starring in A Love To Kill, he acted in his first Korean film, I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK (2006), which won the Alfred Bauer Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival.



Rain has acted in the American films Speed Racer (2008) and Ninja Assassin (2009), the latter of which made him the first Korean to win an MTV award.



In 2007, Rain left the management of JYP Entertainment and started his own company, J. Tune Entertainment.

Rain spent most of his childhood living with his parents and younger sister, Jeong Hanna, near Yeon Se University. Despite being an introverted and shy child, he discovered he had a passion for dance when he performed in a talent show for Sungmoon Junior High School. Rain initially had a difficult time balancing dance and academics and received low grades during the beginning of junior high because of his frequent dance practices. He decided to follow his passion and attended Anyang High School of Arts in Anyang, Gyeonggi, where he received his first formal instruction in acting and was able to continue dancing as well.



Rain again found he could not focus on both dance and his studies in acting; he was truant on several occasions.



Rain lost his mother as she struggled with diabetes and died in 2000. Within that same year, Rain was recruited as a trainee for JYP Entertainment, led by recording artist and producer Park Jin-Young. In a CNN interview and also in a Discovery Channel documentary called Discovering Hip Korea, however, he recalled being repeatedly rejected because of his looks: "In fact, I was told after one audition that my singing and dancing was great but I did not make it because I did not have double eyelids." During the early years of training, Rain was a backup dancer.

Dennis Joseph O'Neil, born August 29, 1981, is a South Korean actor and model. He was born to a Korean mother and a former American GI father. He is also known in South Korea as Dennis Oh.

Daniel Henney





Daniel Phillip Henney (Hangul: 다니엘 필립 헤니; born November 28, 1979) is an Korean American actor and model.



Daniel Henney was born to a Korean adoptee mother and an American father of Irish descent. Henney started modeling in the U.S. in 2001 and worked in France, Italy, Hong Kong and Taiwan while attending college. After his debut in South Korea with an advertisement for the Amore Pacific's cosmetic "Odyssey Sunrise", he became a spokesperson for commercials with Jeon Ji-hyun for Olympus cameras and Kim Tae-hee for Daewoo Electronics's Klasse air conditioners.


Despite speaking no Korean, Henney became a household name through the South Korean hit TV drama, My Name is Kim Sam Soon. He later learned a bit of the language and appeared on a few variety shows, such as Family Outing. Henney was a part of an academic scandal in which many sources stated that he had an Economics degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago to bolster his image, while in actuality he had no college degree.
